Spring Duet -- Canvas Transfer By Donald Zolan

Spring Duet -- Canvas Transfer By Donald Zolan

SKU: p1352

This is to certify that the Donald Zolan "Spring Duet" canvas transfer with the number 0313A is the only "Spring Duet" canvas transfer with this number; that it has been certified by the maker to meet all the quality standards set for the canvas transfer by the artist, Donald Zolan, and by his home gallery,Pemberton & Oakes; that the art has been approved for sharpness of detail, density and balance of colors, precision of placement, freedom from flaws, and fidelity to the artist's original; that the frame has been approved for size, shape, symmetry and color; that the wood is straight and the corners are evenly joined; that the beading surrounds the entire image of the art and the gold color is true gold leaf; and that the canvas transfer has been completed, inspected, approved, numbered and registered during the single original 1994 period set for producing this limited edition. -- Donald Zolan's own story about his new canvas Transfer "Spring Duet. I've painted Fiona before with her cat and now in "Spring Duet" I show her with a robin on her knee. Spring is in full bloom and Fiona and the robin are celebrating in their own little way. Each seems to be trying to talk with the other. I don't know if it's with words, humming or chirps. Certainly they only have eyes for each other right now. They are in a meadow filled with long grass and sunshine. Cherry trees in full bloom fill the background. There are so many blossoms the fragrant petals fall like pink confetti. The robin really seems to trust Fiona. It can sense her gentle manner and her innocence. Fiona is sitting very still and holding her hands folded in her lap so she doesn't frighten her little friend. She's really curious about the bird and it is just as curious about her. So here they are busy discovering one another, lost in the enchantment of this spring duet. --
